With all the original single player campaigns from both Age of Kings and The Conquerors expansion, 18 civilizations and online multiplayer with Steam capabilities, AOEII HD is a massive success. Many of the issues you may encounter running the old version of the game on a new PC are gone. The conversion for modern technology was completed well and with Steam Workshop capability, this game can easily suck hours away from you in the blink of an eye. Addictive gameplay and intense competition among online players makes this a game you can't miss, if you have ever played an Age of Empires game.
AOEII was originally developed by Ensemble Studios and re-imagined in high definition by Hidden Path Entertainment, Skybox Labs, and Forgotten Empires. With scattered amateur, competitive scenes around the world, Pacific Gaming League was approached by eager members of the community, to offer a tournament in Age of Empires II HD. As such, work is underway as of 15/05/17 to bring you a competitive season/event under our new system. Stay tuned under the AOE news section for more information and visit the AOE events page as events get announced. Have fun!
